Ahmed Musa has won the NFF Nigerian Player of the Year award for his outstanding performance in 2018.
Musa, 26, was in a scintillating form at the World Cup in Russia, scoring twice as the eagles exited the tournament at the group stage.
The Al-Nassr forward also played a lead role in helping the Super Eagles qualify for their first Africa Cup of Nations tournament since 2013.
Musa beat Eagles teammates Odion Ighalo and Alex Iwobi for the best player of the season at a ceremony held in Lagos last night.

In other awards, Villarreal sensational Samuel Chukwueze beat off competitions from Galatasaray’s Henry Onyekuru and Sporting Charleroi striker Victor Osimhen to scoop the Young Player of the Year.
