4. Lucky JAMB Finally Releases 2019 UTME Results (See How To Check Your Result)

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2019 UTME results.
About 1,792,719 candidates sat for the exams, while 34,120 candidates had their results withheld for examination malpractice.
The Registrar of the board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, who made the announcement in Abuja on Saturday also stated that 15,145 results were withheld for further clarification.
He said, for the 2019 UTME, 1,886,508 candidates registered including those who registered at the foreign centres.
“Out of this number, which excludes the Direct Entry candidates, 59,667 were absent. A total of 1,826,839 sat the UTME. Today, we are releasing the results of 1,792,719 candidates.
“Some 34,120 results are being withheld including the results of 15,145 candidates being further clarified as identical twins and siblings” Professor Oloyede added.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR JAMB RESULT 2019
According to the registrar you can only check your Jamb result for now via text message. Follow the steps below:
1. Send RESULT as an SMS to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration.
2. An SMS will be sent back to your phone carrying your JAMB 2019 results.
JAMB said it simplified the way to check results for the 2019 examination to avoid extortion of candidates! Good luck as you check your 2019 JAMB results!
